Boil Water Notice Inquiries

Greetings,

There have been inquiries concerning the recent boil water advisory issued yesterday at approximately 5:00 p.m.  All residents served by the Ames Water Distribution System are currently under a mandatory Boil Water Notice.  Although water service has been restored, the boil water advisory remains in effect.  This office will notify everyone once the advisory is lifted and boiling water is no longer required.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this period, and we advise all residents to adhere to the safety instructions provided to ensure health and safety.
